What is it?

The Industrial Coherence and Suitability Diagnosis (ICSD) seeks to empirically measure how aligned your company is internally — considering strategy, processes, decisions, and behavior.

In a single meeting, you and your team will:

• 1. Discuss how the company actually operates today.

• 2. Define the desired level of consistency.

• 3. Calculate a consistency/fit index to understand where to take action first.

The ICSD is not a predictive model, nor is it a mathematical optimization model. Nor is it an economic or operational index. It is a governance tool designed to:

• Explain differences between areas,

• Structure executive conversations,

• Support decisions that are currently made implicitly and not recorded.

ICSD helps answer the following question: What organizational conditions exist for the company to convert technology, data, and effort into results?
